Journey, In viaggio col dolore

28. MY JOURNEY WITH PAIN. Path of Love, Italia

I won't tell the series of coincidences and the why and wherefore, but without Miasto's Mystic Rose, I don't know if I would have ever known this group with the challenging name Path of Love.
One of the two leaders was (and still is!) The American John, whom I already had in the Essence Training.
The group lasted a week in November 2008. I remember John greeting us on the morning of November 4th as usual, before the daily session, but this time with the sentence: 'Yes We Can!' Barak Obama had just been elected President of the United States of America! He was the first African-American President!

In that limited number group, I had entered at the last moment because a participant had canceled at the last minute. And for me, it was a breakthrough. Never in my life had I felt this way!!!
Today the memory of all that vitality, dedication, passion, wholeness, dance, prayer, connection supports me when I have my moments of resignation and discouragement. I think of that fabulous, passionate, and feminine woman, a Bhakti goddess, born to sing to the Divine, dance, and celebrate it, smiling at life.
I remember that the Dynamic Meditation of the last day, a very tiring and physically demanding active meditation of Osho lasting an hour, rather than 'doing' it, 'happened' without feeling even a pain. And time flew by in a flash.

My deep part had emerged in all its glory. And all the loving and passionate support of the assistants, facilitators, and co-leaders had created and sustained a field of wondrous love for us participants.
The pains disappeared.

For me, loving God means loving the truth; to love one's neighbor as oneself is to recognize the unity of one's soul and life with every other human life and with the eternal Truth - God.
